Arcom is an active developer of practical solutions using the Nextel digital data network for telemetry and remote access services. Arcom supports the Nextel field sales team with network gateway and edge controllers for fixed and mobile applications. The
WER1500 can connect distributed "devices" via a serial port, Ethernet or
Wi-Fi to the Nextel network and onto the Internet.

technical support to customers developing VxWorks based solutions.
Arcom offers VxWorks 5.4 / 5.5 and Wind ML BSP (board support

(XScale) VIPER single board computers.

supports and promotes QNX Neutrino from QNX Software Systems Ltd
by including an evaluation copy of the Neutrino RTOS and Momentics
IDE tools as part of the QNX Development Kit. Arcom’s
development experience with QNX means we can offer in house

Datalight
is a key supplier and technical partner to Arcom. Datalight’s
Flash Media Management software (FlashFX), ROM-DOS and BIOS
products have been used extensively on Arcom’s single board
computers for ROM-DOS, Windows CE, QNX and VxWorks system
solutions. Arcom and Datalight have shared information and
development resource to achieve these solutions.
