OLYMPUS Development Kit with Datalight's ROM-DOS

The OLYMPUS Development Kit provides users with everything needed to get up-and-running quickly with the OLYMPUS single board computer. In addition to the OLYMPUS fitted with a 1GHz Intel Pentium III CPU and 256Mbyte of SDRAM, the kit is supplied with all the cables and connectors likely to be required for development. The Development Kit CD contains the Technical Manual, device datasheets, ROM-DOS operating system, example code and device drivers.

A ‘quickstart’ manual is provided to guide the user through the simple set-up procedure. All that is required in addition to the kit is a keyboard and a VGA monitor *.

The kit is also available with a flat panel display option. This kit contains a 6.5" NEC TFT flat panel display DVI, adapter board and all of the cables required to connect it to the OLYMPUS. Connection of this panel to the SBC is automatically detected at boot time and the display output is then automatically diverted to the flat panel.

*Only required with the non flat-panel option
