Integrated cellular modem (GPRS or iDEN), GPS receiver and 
power supply platform

W-E-B Telemetry is a rugged, modular platform for applications in telemetry and telematics. We have made it easy to integrate three essential features of any new asset monitoring solution - a wireless modem, GPS receiver for accurate position and time information, as well as a power supply for your entire system. The W-E-B Telemetry will simplify your system's wiring and provide all the specified power supplies for these wireless modules and additional PC/104 modules. This integrated solution really does save time and money.

Wireless Embedded Baseboard (W-E-B) for Telemetry provides a proven platform for adding a cellular wireless data modem, GPS receiver and versatile DC/DC power supply. The W-E-B Telemetry board is designed for applications using Arcom’s low power PC/104 processor boards such as the XScale based VIPER and VULCAN or x86 compatible PEGASUS and AIM104-386EX. The board can be fitted with OEM cellular modems from three different manufacturers, Sony Ericsson or Motorola as well as the Trimble LassenSQ GPS receiver. The wide input DC/DC power supply is designed for use on fixed installations and automotive supplies up to 30V. Other onboard utility features include a 3V Lithium battery back-up supply for the modem, GPS receiver and RTC on the PC/104 processor boards as well as standard connectors for some communication signals (serial ports and LAN). The board also includes three user controlled LEDs and a digital input accessed from an onboard parallel port.
