486 PC/104-compatible embedded PC

The ELAN-104NC is a Eurocard format embedded PC single board computer based on the AMD Élan SC400 486SX microprocessor. The ELAN-104NC has the following onboard functionality: VGA video (Chips & Technologies 65550 HiQVideo graphics accelerator) with support for STN, TFT, and EL flat panel display, Ethernet (10baseT), 3 high speed serial ports, 8Mbyte Flash drive (supplied with Flash Filing system software) and 128Kbyte battery-backed SRAM disk.

The board is capable of driving high-resolution modes on CRT and flat panel displays simultaneously. Expansion is provided via an industrial PC/104 interface. The Eurocard format is an industrial form factor measuring 160mm x 100mm.

ELAN-104NC Development Kits are available for all the leading embedded operating systems including, DOS (Datalight's ROM-DOS and Flash Filing system pre-installed), Windows CE 3.0, embedded Linux and QNX.
