Analog Resistive Touchscreen Controller
|
The
TSC1 is designed to interface between Arcom embedded computer boards
(such as the APOLLO,
OLYMPUS, SBC-GX1
and VIPER) and analog resistive touchscreens. The controller can be user configured to control 4-wire, 5-wire or
8-wire resistive touchscreens. The
board interfaces with the processor board via an RS232 serial port.
The
TSC1 has been recently upgraded to support 10-bit touch
position output. 10-bit output mode gives
exceptional touch accuracy and resolution. The TSC1 can still
be configured for 8-bit output so that it is compatible with a number of
existing third party touchscreen drivers.

Drivers are available
for most common operating
systems. Arcom drivers for
Microsoft
Windows CE 3.0, Windows CE .NET, Windows 98/2000/XP and XP Embedded and for Arcom embedded Linux are available
for download from this website. The
board is also compatible with Touch-Base drivers.
An Arcom driver for VxWorks is also available. Contact Arcom for further information.
