The ESS offers a networking solution without incurring expensive development costs by replacing equipment, building spur networks or creating custom programming software solutions. The ESS is configured using a simple console menu screen, or via a graphical configuration interface (ACE) offline then downloaded using FTP to update the configuration on the unit. The remote diagnostics using Telnet allows users to monitor data being sent and received over any of the serial connections, making fault finding extremely simple. |
